HISTORY

Oh!the dreaded subject history.

Like some people believe,

Is not to me a mystery

And gets me no relief.

Filled with stories of wars

and battles long ago

Of Nobles,Mughals and Tsars

And of trades of coffee or indigo

Every line comes with a date

which has to be learned;

Our stress increases at a high rate

And our brains will have stumbled

I wish the wars and revolutions didn’t take place

As it would have saved us a few chapters

But history also has another phase

Where it could be grasped easily with interest as a factor
